Future of the Patreon
Added 2019-04-06 23:39:27 +0000 UTCHey, I'm gonna be semi-officially closing up shop, here. I've refunded everyone for accidentally charging them, and don't feel bad about pulling your pledge cuz you're not gonna get anything for it.
I still do a podcast with Riley that you can find at http://asepresents.com/ under Ninja vs. Wizards. The upload schedule is spotty, but I do make it as often as editing and our mutual availability allows.
As for what I'm doing with my time, I've got lots of work stuff going on, and I'm kinda focusing on my personal life and shitpostery. I think I'm gonna try to seriously buckle down and work on a game I've wanted to make for a long time, and perhaps the Patreon will see a formal return if I find a way to make regular support worthwhile. Japanese studies are progressing slowly, and sort of my last priority of late.
Thanks so much to everyone for listening, and it was a lot of fun, even though it was brief. It was so cool to "meet" people I've been a fan of through this project, and I got a lot of positive feedback and made some friends along the way. It's honestly invaluable.
I may make more episodes of Branching Out, but it won't be on a week-by-week schedule, as I think adhering to that was a big part of burnout.
