VR Pupetteering - an easier way to animate

This week I had to find out how I'm going to make an animated comedy without any animation experience or a team. The solution? VR PUPPETS! 

This is the early result of a tool I've been making that lets you grab anything & puppeteer it. The result? A native #Unity animation file... voice recordings included.

This will speed up the development of my comedy so much and it's also just plain fun to fuck around with. I'll be expanding it over next week with new features, such as the ability to record multiple takes and browse previously-recorded animations seamlessly, all within VR.

Yes! That's more of a late stage feature since it falls on the realm of polish, BUT I would love to integrate the iPhone X + Unity facial animation stuff so we can do actual acting of the face after the body animations are complete.

HELLO WHALE GUY! Def experiment with expanding your tool to allow for puppeteering the eyes and arms if you can, will give you a lot more expressiveness
