5 Years Of Youtube

Today is the 5 year anniversary of the first thing I ever uploaded to youtube. It was a shitty COD: Black ops 2 theater mode bit of gameplay where nothing was synced up properly. I never would have guessed that I was going to still be doing youtube 5 years after that first video.

I am not really the type of person to celebrate things so there is not going to be anything special to go along with this post other than the largest steam key drop I have ever done here. I wasn't even going to bring it up actually but I decided to make this post as a thank you. Thank you to all of you that help support the channel here on patreon. Youtube has been an absolute nightmare over the past year and if it was not for the support here, I do not think I would have been able to afford to keep things going. I was very worried about this January because the first couple months of the year are usually by far the worst and knowing how bad ad rates have been over the past year, I was expecting this to be the worst January I have ever seen. Luckily this is not the case. I don't really know why but the current rates are actually on par with how they were for the majority of last year, which is saying a lot for how last year was. Let's just hope this year is a good one and this channel will survive what ever comes at it.
