I'll explain this all more, but that is a former Vice President of Marketing for Disney Canada who wore a homemade sandwich board and the actual digital billboard about eight stories tall. I worked with Greg as a client for over a decade and now he's hocking my podcast in the city square like a minstrel of old. Actually, if you've never heard of Terry Fox, this is a man who single-handedly changed how Canada views cancer. Greg here has raised hundreds of thousands for the annual Terry Fox Run, and this year he raised over $125,000 offering this personal humiliation and the billboard space was thrown in by Branded Cities. It was only supposed to be up for 3 minutes. Then they said they wanted to throw five more minutes on. They spent so long admiring the art, they left it up for 30 minutes - to the point that when it finally cycled to a blank background, Doomsday was still burned into the screen.
