Weekly Update- 11/12/2024

Hey there Roomies!

We hope everyone is doing well on this Tuesday! We have some updates to share below!

House of Horrors----> House of Holidays!

• For the entire month of December and 2 weeks of January, House of Horrors will transform into House of Holidays!

Why?

• For a couple of different reasons. We rarely get the opportunity to discuss Holiday movies on the podcast and this seemed like a great opportunity to do that.

• There was also a logistical reason as Claira and I will be at Sundance the final 2 weeks of January and Sydney will be vacationing, so this gives us a chance to have a short break at the end of January! (similar to when we did the Alien Franchise recap)

Voting

• we didnt want to take away your voice in choosing movies, so we have created a Google survey with about 30 Holiday movies (Including New Years!) Each patron in Film Fan or Above, will be given SIX votes. The six movies with the most votes, will be the episodes we discuss!

• This form will be sent out in about 2 hours from this posting! So be on the look out!

We love horror and the house will return back to House of Horrors in February, but we are excited to dive into the very chaotic world of Holiday movies!

Next Week's House of Heroes episode- Delayed

• Next week's episode on Moon Knight will sadly need to be delayed (likely to December) due to unfortunate scheduling conflicts.

• In it's place, we will have an episode on the very polarizing adaptation, DEATH NOTE (2017)

PUBLIC EPISODE 200!

• It's wild that we have reached 200 public episodes and to celebrate, we are doing a mailbag Q&A episode. The question form for that will be posted to our IG story later today!

Discord Movie Night- 11/25/2024 (Film Enthusiasts & Above)

• Due to our own travels and schedule, we likely will only get a chance for one movie night this month.

• Movie is pending, we will have Cinephile tier members vote on it!

Game Night- 11/26/2024 (Film Fans & Above)

• Before the Thanksgiving holiday!
