One more month

Shadowkeep is just around the corner. It’s time to tie up loose ends from the past few seasons and optimise old code.

I won’t lie to you - I procrastinate writing posts for Patreon... Be it out of a sense of unworthiness or fear of taking responsibility or other... But I need you to know, that I appreciate you and that you sometimes support not only me but my parents as well.

That’s enough emotions. There’s more threatening priorities at hand such as what the Hive have been doing while we’ve been busy with the Cabal, Riven, Fallen, Yor, and Calus, in that order.

The last few weeks have seen an increased focus on refining the best parts of Braytech and buttoning up its core in preparation for Destiny's next big content release.

Highlights

>> Added the ability to filter out dud triumphs
   > Making this optional (albeit switched on be default) was key in case these dud records suddenly start being used by future manifest deployments
>> Added a suggestions box
>> Added small but significant touches such as
   > {{progress}}/{{total}} to collections secondary nav  on Triumphs and Collections views
  > Braytech-ified scrollbars
  > increased the coverage of tooltips
  > added custom nodes to Collections for item types such as emotes
  > added the ability to filter Triumphs and Collections views search by prefixing name:, description:, or type:. for example, type:trace will return all Trace Rifles
   > made sure it all looks good on displays with resolutions greater than 1920 (I envy you)
  > redesigned the Ranks component (again)
>> added Clan Admin mode

I can't stress enough how many changes I've made that aren't user-facing but still super important for Braytech's future. When I deploy them, even though I know they're important, I worry people are concerned I'm sitting on my hands. That said, a fellow well known dev reminded to me yesterday, that I'm currently the most active third party.

I love this game and I love you.

It's always great to hear from you but please don't stress about the posts. I love Braytech and I'm so pleased to support it and you (and occasionally, mom and dad). Keep up the hard work - both visible and not so - and make sure to take care of yourself.

You are FAR AND AWAY the most active third party dev, and without a doubt doing the most interesting, well-designed work out there for the Destiny community. Keep up the amazing work!

Don't sweat it. You've been doing awesome work and it's incredible to me how you manage to keep pumping out so much improvements in such a short time. Braytech.org is simply one of the best Destiny 2 companion sites there is; way better than Bungie's own official app. Bungie should just hire you.
