Firstly, thanks to all supporters, especially those that have managed to pledge multiple months.

Updates Progress

The Europe server is running all our latest updates which are expected to be deployed on the US server at some point. Right now we are working on fixing any new issues before doing this but these updates are made in preparation for the next Terraria update which will require patches on our server to provide compatibility. These patches will be built on top of the latest updates only, which means we will be forced to update the US server to the latest changes. If you find issues on the EU server, you should report them with as much information as possible so that we have more information on how to replicate these issues and ultimately fix them.

Survival is edging closer to being updated to 1.4.4.9, but we currently do not have a timeline for when this will happen or if it will happen before the next game update.

Our Europe server has additional auto moderation updates both with fixes and better rules to catch people being racist in chat. It also includes the updates necessary to begin rolling out nicknames to our supporters.

Europe Server Migration

Due to higher costs with our former Europe server, it has been completely migrated to a new server, which is cheaper and has better hardware. Due to the number of services we run in total, this migration has taken quite a while to finish but has just recently been completed and marks the close of eu-fra-1.dark-gaming.com. This migration has also enabled us to scale our services better if necessary, whether to upgrade our hardware to support new services or more users or to downgrade our hardware to keep within our budget without compromising on performance. As I've mentioned before, our US server is provided to us through sponsorship, so it's entirely possible that this will stop at some point, and we will need to be able to react accordingly. The changes to our Europe server will help us deal with this if necessary.
