July 2024 Update

This is the Guns Galore progress update for July, 2024.

I've gone ahead and removed the Uber Supporter tier for now, and have redistributed the bonuses to the two lower tiers.

The very next weapon pack to be released will be the Supporter Suggestions collection. This pack is a sneak-preview of future full packs and is voted on by the community. While this was handled unusually for the initial release, I plan to make the routine for updates consistent going forward:

• A public poll, open to all members of the Guns Galore Discord.

• A second poll, open to all supporters.

• Every Elite Supporter can make a single request per update. For this first release, that also included all you first time basic supporters, as well as fellow collaborators.

I will also add content separate to the polls and requests at my own discretion

In future pack news:

As you may have seen in the Discord. I recently finished the revamped artwork for both the FN Minimi/M249 SAW and M60 machine guns, in preparation for Guns Galore - Modern (USA), which will be the next full pack to release. These include revamped sprites for the Cold War (USA) and Cops & Robbers (Cold War) packs. Three new variants are also coming to the former: an early M249 Para, an M60 "shorty" sawed-off variant, and an M60 with no bipod.

As for Arms Galore - Neolithic, which is also set to be released soon, there are some new tasty primitive bow and arrow sprites created by BlackMarket420. These two (the "primitive bow" and "primitive recurve bow") are cheaper and somewhat inferior to the vanilla variants stat-wise.

I've also been taking the time to pad out the other weapons in the mod, including a bunch of very basic weapons - stone axes, stone spears, a basic club, and a short and long wooden stake.
