Players can choose between an Archer, Mage, and Knight (More classes later on). There is singleplayer for story and online multiplayer. A Holmgang is a one versus one duel, in an arena/round island; best of 3 rounds. At the end of each battle players will earn experience and coins. When they level up they will get 1 skill point and 1 attribute point. Coins will be spent in the merchant stores for cosmetic weapons and armor.
Similar titles are Hunter's Arena PVP mode and Conqueror's Blade.
