These trees produces fruits, very appreciated to make food to herbivores due its high nutritional value. The fruits can also be used to extract a potent anti-oxidant named Resveratrol, important substance in the so called "Alien Samples 03", required for each advanced creature in this game. Since it´s a hybrid, their seeds dont grow up naturally, you need to replant after each crop. Use your Botanical nursery to grow new specimens.
As you can notice, it needs tons of water and a good fertilizer may help in the production. Im still thinking if we can do something with the leaves.

Plants take up heavy metals and other stuff from the soil/water: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phytoremediation#Phytoextraction ; in so-called hyper-accumulators heavy metals are often stored in leaves: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phytoextraction_process#Storage ; these heavy metals can then be isolated from the leaves; alternatively, the leaves could be another source of anti-inflammatory substances (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medicinal_plants), which are currently somehow made from the Dhilmos' blood
