More of Your Nightmares!

I've had a recurring dream for over a decade now! In the dream, I'm escaping a Frankenstien's-monster-type being with elongated features and a heavy limp that makes his footsteps incredibly loud. I usually start having this dream in the middle of the "action." A few friends and I have successfully pushed the monster off of a bridge into a river, and have escaped to a nearby building. Like most dreams, it doesn't follow normal logic, so I can still hear the monster's breath escape as it bubbles to the surface of the water even though I shouldn't. (Just for the esthetic I guess.) As the other survivors and I start to relax, the sound of the bubbling water slowly fades, and the monster's heavy footfall picks up again, getting louder and louder. The sounds of squeltching wet boots draws closer, but my friends don't seem to notice. When one of them opens the door to prove everything is safe, the monster is standing in the doorway and strikes! Then I usually wake up. Terrifying. No idea what it means. I've never even seen Frankenstien! What do you think it means??

Rise Heroes Rise!

I had a nightmare when I was younger where there was an invasion of giant caterpillars (the size of a big dog) that had spikes along their backs. They would go up to peoples houses and knock and act innocent to get in then once they are in they kill the whole family by stabbing them with there spikes. I could see them all outside my window going to all my neighbours so I took my whole family dug a big hole in the garden to hide us all from them. I had another one where I was in a high rise abandoned building where I was being chased by zombies and I was so scared I squeezed my eyes shut to wake my self up which worked then when I went back to sleep a few minuets later I went straight back into the dream.
