Episode 4 - 'Pathfinder' - Scene One

If you heard the promo for ep4 there is still plenty new here for you to listen to. The promo's writing was a first draft that I wanted to just get out there publicly and from now I want to release a promo after a new episode drops. So if ep5 drops, the promo for ep6 is ready etc.

This is the finished version with a rewrite and audio re-edits. I've thought more about the accompanying music, sound effects (the Breen ones are here as a test for heavy use later) and writing about the political ramifications of the post war situation with Voyager returning.

This is the pre-credits scene. I have 20 days to finish the rest of the episode (so keeping my promise of an early release for you, but wanted to treat you to my progress as it comes. Feedback is welcome. Episode 4 is finished in the literary sense, it's just editing the vocals, sound effects and music now.

The plan for the next few pre-credit scene is to have episode 5 begin with discussing the state of the Federation (that's why this episode doesn't go into great detail about them, just the other empires), episode 6 discusses the state of Earth and episode 7 discusses the city of Hong Kong. Each episode drills down deeper and deeper into the societal backdrop for our heroes.

Each week I'm also re-editing episode 1 because of quality issues I'm not happy with. I'm editing 1 scene a week because I'm already busy. There will also be a special update this Friday for you all (my time).

P.S. - For IkleGeek, our discussion about Changelings ever being aboard Voyager was written into this to nip that idea in the bud but also serve as a mechanism to provide some controversial material for the Dominion (run by the fanatical Vorta now) and the Federation. So thank you for the inspiration.
