The next couple of videos are queued and should be uploaded here first. One is an aero test of the rim VS disc bike (TCR) and the other is an aero/Crr test on 28 vs 32mm tyres. These topics are in heated and contentious debate within the industry, but my findings put the differences into context... the results were very consistent, but it is not the bloodbath/destruction of disc brakes and wide tyres that the trolls are sniffing for. Call it unexciting, but results are results. Stay tuned!

28mm. 25mm on the gp5k is very narrow, more like a 23.

That's exactly my findings too, spoiler alert. And that sentence you've quoted is a very nice way of summarising it too. In my test for the tyre width video i did adjust the 32mm pressure down to achieve the same hoop tension/skin tension/comfort, and the crr is virtually identical! Although in my tests, the rolling drag is higher than their tests as 1, im heavier and 2, they use a cylindrical drum not a flat road.

Quick question on tire size for the Elite Drive wheels. I just received my rim brake set. Should I go with 25mm or 28mm GP5000 tires to optimize aero?

Can't wait to see the video. It seems like the wider tire myth is starting to be busted. I found this article interesting: https://www.bicyclerollingresistance.com/specials/grand-prix-5000-comparison. When you adjust each tire to maintain the same comfort level (spring rate), the CRR is basically the same regardless of the tire width. Once you drop the pressures more on the wider tires, the CRR becomes much worse. Their conclusion was "We now feel picking the right size tire is more a matter of looking at what level of comfort (and grip) is required. At some point, a smaller tire isn't able to provide the same comfort level (and grip) as its bigger counterpart because it will start bottoming out. If you want to go as fast as possible, choose your required comfort level and pick the smallest tire that can provide that comfort for you. "
