SCRIPT 2 - REDRAW YOUR ART#2

This is the final part of the first script.
---
And it's done!
I like how the final piece came out, mostly because I reached my goal: the warm atmosphere and the feeling of isolation even in a noisy place. I also like how I did the shading because it gives the drawing a lot of depth.
Now, let's compare the two drawings to each other:
In my piece, I wanted to give more contrast between the character and the background, since the original one has this little difficulty of contrasting the character with the background, it feels like the two aren't separated. I also wanted to give more contrast to make it feel more depth, which the original one, is flatter.
On the original piece, the character doesn't look like they have the umbrella in their hand, it doesn't feel they are holding it tight, so I wanted to give more evidence on the hand holding the umbrella tight, which gives even more attention to the stick going around, like a snake, in their arm.
I also changed a bit the background: instead of the ferris wheel, I did a roller coaster. I wanted to give more feeling that everything was fun and there wasn't any way to not feel amused.
The last thing that I want to point out is my choice of colours: I wanted to give a big contrast between the feeling of the character, that is empty, cold, with warm colours, like this kind of atmosphere is hugging the emptiness of the character.
What I said over the original piece aren't assumed to be mistakes, the artist could perfectly want to do the stuff on purpose, but if it's not, a little advice is to give more contrast and to also trying to give more depth. If it was made with purpose, feel free to ignore my advice!
With that said, our little adventure has ended. Do you like my interpretation of it? How do you see the original piece?
