Happy Holidays!

We're ringing in the holiday season all proper-like this time with some truly top-shelf holiday cheer in the form of Satoshi Kon's Tokyo Godfathers. We talk all about what makes the film special, from its amazing characters to the truly dizzying quality of animation. The timing on this episode was just too perfect, when we realized this was the winner of our first miniseries poll we knew it had to be fated somehow, and thank you all for giving your support!

Speaking of the poll, since this series is almost over we'll be unleashing the next batch of series ideas for you all to decide on this coming Wednesday, the 21st. Sneak preview for all the details on that poll at the end of this episode!

Also, as we've mentioned before, this will be the second (or third) to last release of the year from us. We've got our Discuss All Monsters holiday special coming up next week and after that a little something else for some of you, but the next episode of this show on the movie Paprika will be coming out on January 13th, since we'll be taking a break. We will not be releasing anything on the weekends of 12/30 and 1/6. We like to take the end of the year to ourselves and especially this year since we've been so consistent (and even had to RE-record some episodes) we think its chill to just take a minute and enjoy the holiday.
