Dont record over your tape cassettes
Added 2023-08-19 01:54:29 +0000 UTCI missed popping the tabs out on the tape cassettes for tier 3. Pop those tabs in so you dont potentially record over the contents on the tape cassette.
Most Tapes come pre popped.
back in the day we use to cover the holes with tape so we could record over the tapes we had laying around.
This video is a good example of popping cassette tape tabs in. If youve never done that before. Its really easy. Just get something small and strong enough to push the tab in. You can leave the broken tab inside or you can fish it out with a tweezer or needle. (I usually just keep it inside)
Also, if you wanna record over a tape that had its tabs already popped out. Simply cover the holes with tape, and that will enable the re-recording of a tape cassette.
Much Love!
