In our final (for now) installment of our Weird Hollywood IP Dystopia But Also About Human And A Cartoon Movies podcast, we talk about Space Jam: A New Legacy. This movie really just uh, appeared, and then went away like a fart in the wind last year... and BOY did people complain about it being a jumbled, cynical mess. We talk about how we ultimately agree with this notion but have some sort of nuanced feelings about its place in the really stupid collection of 4 films we've built up over these last few episodes. We talk about the movies' ups and downs and also attempt to put a nice bow on this topic for the time being before we come back after some time has passed.
As always, we really support your patronage here at Explode When Defeated and we're devoted to giving you more fun podcasts on topics we're interested in. In two more weeks we're going to move onto our next topic, which is going to be centered on Hideaki Anno's masterpiece anime Neon Genesis Evangelion and its progression as a series. More details at the end of this episode, make sure to watch episodes 1-6 for next time! See you there.
