Pre is operating on imprecise information on just how horrifying the things are. He's not a completely fully informed viewpoint in that regard.

If anything it makes it feel like "oh yeah, that's just something any old seasoned Mandalorian might accomplish in the field, you're a bit ahead of the curve for your age" rather than "those things, the things that destabilize cities and even _planets_ by digging tunnels? those things that we've only ever really heard whispers about?" I mean, in canon it pressed Exar Kun almost to the breaking point forcing him to fall closer to the dark side to get enough power to take it out. Would Viszla even know to refer to it as such or would he just call it a juvenile exogorth? The name is pretty obscure in universe.
