Ugh, I don't want this to come across as odd but I just need to say it - as a white woman I want to apologize for my ugly ass people and the exclusion of beauty to anyone who isn't that. I have had ENOUGH of the diploma that white is the standard. Give me brown, black, light skin, almond, caramel, EARTH AND SOIL. Anything and everything. We are all beautiful, no leaf on a tree is the same whether by curve or colour!! It saddened me so much when you recalled what most people find attractive according to a wide consensus, and that Asian men and black women were low on the radar. Like, take a look around for the black girls - Grace Jones? Halle Bailey? Alicia Keys? Lupita Nyong'o? Larissa Crawford? Anok Yai? Aaliyah? Solange? BEYONCĆ?! I want to live in a world where love really IS blind to one thing - race.
