Thank you for the feedback! Self-destructive stance did indeed end up being more awkward to use than I had originally envisioned. But that awkwardness mostly comes into play at high MoL levels, and once Release 2's content is implemented, players with that much MoL will be able to unlock another routine in the Metropolis which acts as a very powerful Health-management tool. So, it should feel a lot better after that's in. For cancer juice, all I can say is that I have some future plans which would make "regenerate a percentage of Max Stamina as Health" become pretty much gamebreakingly powerful. It might be possible at some point, but not from a relatively early-game routine. Regarding mastering your charisma, the plan is for each city to have its own "make one attribute better" inifinite goal chain. (The Metropolis chain will improve Finances, and will come from the megacorp job.) The decision to make the Stamina cost too low to proc self-destructive stance was a deliberate one - self-destructive stance is already so strong that it'll be hard for later stances to compete! And as for romance routes, I wanted to make sure that players never feel like they "need to" pursue one, because some people will simply dislike some characters and not want to romance them. Finally, regarding incentives to reset: don't worry, there are some planned mechanics which should be pretty fun to play with.

I had some thoughts I wanted to share, and I wasn't sure about the best venue, so I figured I'd post here. Self-Destructive - This interacts badly with wetwork at upper levels. You can get so much wetwork via basic MOL upgrades and high MOL grinding that you can't lose HP anymore. Perhaps a rework where it eats 1-5% of your HP every day? Maybe change Trained to reduce this effect? And rather than cutting off when you have >20 HP, it would cut off when you don't have enough HP to trigger the drain at the start of the day. I think having wetwork interact with it would be cool, but wouldn't be thematically appropriate currently. Maybe vitality, or an MOL unlock to reduce the drain? Cancer juice - I think it'd be cool if this scaled with Vitality. It's currently 5hp per sleep. 200 Stamina for 5hp would be 2.5%. Maybe have it restore 2.5% of your vitality as HP? Or a quarter of whatever the restored %, to benefit things like Deep Sleep over snooze? It could also serve as a counterbalance for a reworked self-destructive. Master your Charisma events - It'd be really cool if we could have an unlock for a >30 base stamina event that could trigger self-destructive, to further this event chain which is pretty limited atm. Maybe manic partying lol? Or using the Megacorp weekend parties as an event continuation? Romance Feats- I ironically have not actually triggered ANY of the romance events in over 100 loops (aside from the half-event of DuMont). Because I funny enough find the numbers-go-up stuff more appealing. Maybe add feats to triggering them? They are pretty high-effort to trigger, so maybe like 20 or 25? I know you want to possibly encourage people to start over, maybe a soft reset where you trade in all your MOL for a new second tier stat called... Purpose of Life? That has advantages for the next set of loops. Higher difficulty for more MOL gains, multipliers, that kind of thing. All of this is just feedback, and may not square with your visions or plans. If it doesn't work, don't worry about it! But I figured I'd share :) It does occur to me that self destructive would then be available without and before Jackal, which would allow SD use on a DuMont run, and it would probably make saving Tanaka on d32 much, much easier. Neither of these might be desirable for you.

Correct, it isn't yet possible to upgrade smash and grab, and it isn't yet possible to meet anybody else in the Metropolis. The megacorp job is technically reachable already, but it doesn't have any story scenes, and the bonuses it'll grant aren't implemented yet. If you want to take a look at what's there, you can unlock it by progressing DuMont's goals at the country club.

Upgrading smash and grab and meeting Paladin aren't in this release, right? I saw a screenshot somewhere of a Megacorp Building being available in Metropolis, is that available in this version?
