Hi hi wavies!! 🌊

So it seems my old (very old) artwork has been popping off a bit on Twitter and Instagram, and I'm trying to share it sparingly, but I thought what no better than to share the real gems on my Patreon! Get ready for it ...........

I'm going to post a couple every day from the years 2003 - 2008. I was basically 13 yrs old to 18. I hope you enjoy it, it's beautifully cringe!!!!!!!

Starting with 2003!

Most of these are pencil sketches, but please dear god look at this first picture - it's (supposed to be) Full Moon wo Sagashite😭😭😭 it is the true embodiment of cringe....
The lyrics written in unreadable cursive. The mispelled Romaji. The little blurb with the XD face. The motion blur. The pixelated fill sections. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS.................... I have nothing left to say.

There is another piece in here with my original characters wearing/selling hot dogs. While I was in elementary school, we had this thing called hot dog day, where once a week you could buy hot dogs for lunch at school. Kids from 8th grade were assigned to make the hotdogs for the whole school. I remember me and a friend did it for a couple weeks, and it was a lot of fun........... I must have been 13 or 14. I guess that's why I drew this lol.

I was obviously very inspired by Arina Tanemura. That ended up leaving me for awhile, but obviously, I came back to my shoujo roots in the past 10 years or so lol. It's always been my calling!!!!!

I was also very inspired by an artist who went by Hiromi. She had an online manga called Lunar Soul. Does anyone remember or am I just showing my age ......
