Animated WIP

It's that time of the month where I bust out the marvel rivals again.

If you caught my last post I mentioned a hardware upgrade so I'm deliberately trying some usually not done methods and rendering to test it out. More will be mentioned in the technical notes below.

Back on Cycles... again. Also Blender 5.0

Quick rundown you may have heard before. There are two ways to Render in Blender. Cycles and Eevee. Eevee is used by most due to it's quickness and it works on weaker hardware. No matter what, the general consensus is that Eevee is faster and looks worse, Cycles is slower but looks better. I am testing Cycles again to see how I like it and also using the Fisheye Camera perspective to give it a camera similar to my Juri Chun li bathroom animation (which was also in Cycles). Cycles moves ok but it's certainly harder to get a preview of how the animation looks in Cycles because even with my new computer Cycles takes a bit of time to refresh each preview frame.

I normally use Blender 4.0.1 but wanted to test another. There have been many updates since then (4.1, 4.2, 4.3, etc) but due to Eevee next being a bit disappointing I never bothered. Now I made a drastic jump to trying 5.0 just because why not. Now, there are many complications with this that I'm just biting the bullet on.

1.) Uncertainty with all the changes. There are months worth of changes and when I'm confused on a change I need to research it.

2.) Addons are broken or not working. I use some addons all the time, 2 that I always use and then 2-4 that I use back and forth, then after that it's random if I need some others, etc. Addons can often break when moving to new versions of Blender. Often time addon creators update their stuff but it can still be problematic. Basically I'm doing basic stuff this animation so I don't have to rely on any addons.

Other

I chose Rogue's pose based on her pose that she often does in game. Rogue's normal outfit is fine but I can't deny the jungle outfit is nice. So I figured why not get a matching environment. As mentioned above I'm basically working with no addons. That includes an addon called spring bones that I normally use for breasts, butt, and hairs for easy bone physics. So I'm gonna have to do it manually instead which I haven't done in a while. Just doing some basic movements. I've done it on Rogue's breasts already.
