Bach: Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major, Prélude (ukulele, mandola tuning)
Added 2024-03-12 14:35:54 +0000 UTCMandola is an instrument of mandolin family, tuned like viola (5th lower then mandolin).
This is played on ukulele tuned like mandola - c, g, d, a (low to high). Tab can be also used for mandolin (will sound 5th higher).
You can try this tuning with concert or tenor sized ukulele, using nylon guitar strings like this:
1st string - use guitar high E string, tune to A
2nd string - use guitar G string, tune to D
3rd string - use guitar D string, tune to G
4th string - use guitar A string, tune to C
