Ideas for October and Akane's Armor

Hi patrons! So I've some ideas for October and I wanted to update you on Akane's armor. 

First, the armor. I've rigged and detailed the arms and legs. It was a lot of work but everything now deforms well enough in basic poses and sizing. 

So what's taking so long? The details guys. They're everywhere. Little cuts, armor plates, strings, gold bits, hinges.... the works.

Check out this bit on the upper leg attached to her thigh high socks. It's a plate, covered in smaller plates held together with strings with a strip tied on to her leg. Everything also has buttons and detail work on them.

This is the forearm. It's an armor plate with another plate tied to it. Japanese armor seems to have that style to it. Layered plates and smaller plates strapped on.

Here's the rest of the arm and a bit of the shoulder. There's a space between the large upper arm plate and the smaller shoulder plate. You'd find this space on all of my mods because there's a small gap between shoulder 02 and arm 01 joints. 

That small gap has roughly the same influence for both joints meaning that everything there will bend, clip and crumple. Removing or limiting the influence of one of the bones makes arm movement look terrible and unplayable. So rather than leave in something to look bad, I just removed one of the plates. 

The elbow cup will clip through when the arm is bent. The only alternative is to let it crumple up which is unsightly. The same goes for the knee cup but I left in some bend in it. If it looks hideous in game I can easily remove the upper leg influence. The trade off being that with sizing and some poses, clipping will occur instead of the cup deforming. 

Other than that, It's just been rigging and detailing work. 

Now for my idea for October! I don't know if you guys will like this suggestion so I'm just throwing it out there. You can still send me suggestions for new mods while you wait for the armor.

I was thinking about coats and picked out 2 outfits I think would look cute and cool in HS. Freya's default outfit from Final Fantasy 9 or Riesbyfe's outfit from Melty Blood. Both have cool coats and nice weapons. 

Now just a note, Freya is not human so the outfit will not conform to her exact frame, however it will be optimized for HS. Riesbyfe's coat is quite long so I might have to try out making a longer dress rig. It will still look bad because HS makes dresses clip and flow all over the place. 

I'll leave this one up for a few days. I'll post this poll as public so if you know anyone who would be interested, they can vote as well.
