Ahh thank you!! Im really glad that all came across Ben has mever seen his father as anything but happy and warm natured. Its a big shock for him, combined with feeling like hes grieving alone

It's so exciting seeing you flex your comic-making skills!) There's also something uniquely heart-wrenching and scary for a child in a situation like this, too, seeing their parent fall to pieces (especially if they don't tend to do so very often in front of them.) Not that parents or adult-figures shouldn't be allowed to feel grief and express emotions! It can just be jarring for a kid (especially a younger one,) to realize the adults in their life are "just people" too, y'know? ππ₯Ίπ And you captured all that, just in the span of a few panels!!! Someone get lil Ben a hug, stat!!! π
