Weekly Standup 48

Cover image: I *finally* got an image for the teatime chats in, I've been wanting to include it for a very long time. The table could use a bit more clutter in the finalized version, though.

TL;DR:

Things I got done this week: More illustrating.I got as much of the h-scene stuff done as I had planned - there's (probably) only minor things left with it. I also drew a pic for the teatime chats, with some variations that are meant to be unique for a single occurence in v.0.12.

Things I want to get done next week: Er, I'm not sure, actually. There's a bit more art to be done and a bit more writing, but I'm basically moving on to the programming stage of the update at this point (reminder - the stages of development, more or less, go writing -> illustrating -> programming -> testing)

No day-by day breakdown this week, either. It's not so much that it would be useless, I just sort of forgot what I did on each day, specifically. :P

But yeah, it was all illustrating, all week. I'm pretty quickly gaining back all of the confidence I described as having lost last week, which is great.

Updates on my orthopedic health: outlook is not good, but v.0.12 development shouldn't be affected.

I still can't form a fist with my right hand, which means that the docs might need to break the bone again for it to heal right. I think. They're kind of keeping me in the dark. However, I've prioritized these last two weeks as "do the stuff you can't do in a cast" so I could continue working with a cast if it becomes necessary again (at least as long as I'm allowed to have a straight wrist on the cast this time so I can actually type with it).

Now, broken bones on mission-critical limbs notwithstanding, v.0.12 was meant to prioritize  fast turnaround time over the inclusion of lots and lots of content (the updates keep ballooning, I need to tone it down). I don' want to set a release date yet, but it will be released next month at the latest. I'd prefer sooner, but... no promises.
