Hrm, I dunno, I feel like refining this one has lost some of the energy I wanted. So I've just been staring at this thing for two days! Might need to go back to shapes. Need to refigure out the energy.

What? MORE? Sure. Let's keep going into 2026 or whatever.
Remember when Dorothy started confronting her bisexuality and pratfalled into Amber/Dina's room, getting a worms-eye view of Amazi-Girl lifting weights? Well, I guess I'll be drawing a nicer version of that. It'll be filed under the "not technically naked" category, and it's probably going to be tame enough to be posted anywhere else without adult content warnings, really, but it's nice to have variety, right? Sure.
Joyce/Dorothy, face-to-face fingering, finished rendering
Not-so simple shading? There's no airbrushing, but the shadowing is a bit more involved than usual.
When I repurposed this artwork for the "Friend of Dorothy" Slipshine comic, I completely reinked it and reshadowed it and... well, put it in a dimly-lit room! So the other path in this forked road is actually pretty different!

(and also the glasses rims, not that you can tell here -- sometimes it's just easier to draw them on a separate layer so you can fix or move them around with better precision and without having to erase/redraw hair and eyes all the time)

THERE we are, now it's starting to take shape. And some of you, at this point, probably recognize it as some artwork I repurposed for their Slipshine comic! (or maybe some of you did a few days ago, with just the joyce as the clue, who knows, i wrote this two weeks ago)
anyway, i figured out the dorothy positioning so that we don't lose too much joyce anatomy
i did cover up an arm, and i do love to draw arms, but ah well

okay, joyce pencils were good, but all right we gotta shove a dorothy in there somewhere, and i like the anatomy pretty strongly, so it's gotta be a somehow not-too-obscuringy dorothy
so i take the pencils, shrink and move 'em around, add a dorothy and some grinding
a step in the correct direction, bit of a dead end ultimately, but thought i'd show you this false middle anyway

Joy to the world! Etc etc! Here's your full airbrushed rendering of Santa Sal! I showed it to my wife before uploading all these last week, and she said it was good, and she has good taste, so. Anyway, eat some sugar cookies or go get some fried rice, either or.
Tomorrow, some other stuff! Not-Christmas stuff. it's probably joyce and dorothy, i have a lot of that in backlog, joyce and dorothy are a good bet

It's that time again! We're celebrating the birth of the Baby Jesus, the Son of God, Emmanuel, by drawing half-naked people dressed up like an old man. As you do! It makes sense, right? It's got to make sense.

That's right, have some animation! I originally animated this quite a bit back, but this week I refurbished it a little to be more on-current-model. Joyce's nose is broader, made the hair a little more dynamic, that sort of thing.
