They said it was impossible. That we're the most prepared and worst paid generation in history. Yet, by the power of god and anime on my side, I bought a place. Not a mansion mind you, but enough for my wife and me. Also mexico's real estate market isn't as overblown as in the first world, i feel for you guys D;
Thanks to your relentless, heartfelt support, as well as all my excellent clients throughout the years, I finally managed to buy a place to call my own here on my town.
Well, paid 20% and the rest is a loan, but you get the deal.
Here i am, with my goofy ass mug and my hair melting into my shirt like a way less sexy bayonetta, signing the contract.
I just wanted to personally thank you. This would all been pretty much impossible without all of you reading this, and those who have left.
To give you some perspective, I was born into a middle class family. My parents couldn't buy a place until their late 50s. Thanks in part to a crisis in the 90s here in México, aptly named "the tequila effect", you can google that. Then decades of my parents struggling to make a living doing oddjobs. And now here i am, at my wee lil' 28 years, taking the same leap. Albeit with an even weirder job.
I've been truly blessed to be able to make a living doing what I love, and now to take the next big step in this wacky game of monopoly that is life. Thank you.
This also means that the next 3 to 4 months will be a bit bumpy. Having to do a bunch of bureaucratic bs and signing papers and paying fees and taxes and yadda yadda, then actually moving and prepping the place to go back to workflow status quo. I'll try my best not to interrupt my workflow, but you never know D:
That's all. Have a good one.
