is patreon already charging right when you pledge?
Added 2015-04-16 02:15:02 +0000 UTCWith our fellow patron bracabrad we discovered patreon charged him right away after he modified his pledge. But idk if it was because he pledged a large amount, or is it a new thing. Has this happened to anybody else? And in what tier?

Yeah, agreed. Guessing there may be some weird regulatory reasons behind it.

2015-04-16 13:32:39 +0000 UTCI had a customer accidentally pledge $600 instead of $6 and run into this problem where that much was on held back, even though he corrected the amount after I alerted him.

2015-04-16 03:14:03 +0000 UTCIt does it anytime you pledge $100 or more for the first time in a month. Prevents people from pledging large amounts and backing out at the end of the month. Holds the funds basically until the end of the month.
