Is it just me, or does Russell seem to actually hate Alex? The way he keeps jabbing at him, making fun of him and “innocently” challenging his wild claims - it’s too much to be done out of naivety. He makes a lot of noise about how much he loves and respects Jones, but he treats him with utter disrespect and sometimes open contempt. I think he is totally savvy and self-aware about the game they are playing, and he is trying to make Alex look bad so he can steal his viewers. Total frienemy behavior.
