I wish you a happy new year 2023, every patrons! I have to say, I'm very glad to have you supporting me during this complex period 🙇
I did my best to finish this illustration during my new year break at my friends home. I had the skech since a while, but here is the final version!
This 2022 year was quite like a rollercoaster of emotions to me, as I reached 30 that year, I got some kind of mid-life crisis. If I became suddenly kind of afraid of counting my time remaining on earth (I don't have any disease that make it unusually shorter, don't worry), I also tend to enjoy life everyday more than before. That's the kind of energy I wanted to put in this illustration. We're just tiny part of life, so let's enjoy this ride our best!
I also wanted to make a character without any explicit gender. I'm curious about how you feel about it? Do you think it's a boy, a girl, a genderless character? No wrong answer there, I know this character won't mind about it ;) I've my own feeling about it but I'd like to have yours!
This illustration is also a big reference to Bocchi The Rock that I loved very hard, probably my AotY. I'm frustrated that I didn't draw it yet and I'm gonna miss the good timing... But not pressure myself too much is also one of my goal for 2023 >_<)/ as treat my patrons more than in 2022!! Gambarou!
