New Moves! And other updates.

Woof! It's been more than a month since my last update. So sorry about that, just haven't had a ton on interesting stuff to share til just now.

I'm working thru Lion's Moveset! I wanna focus on making this game feel fast and kinetic. And one of the main points of feedback I got was how committal the swing was. So I took out the windup! I also made it so you can cancel into the next one without having to wait for the animation to finish.

I also added a Super Swing! If you charge it up for a second, you'll swing in an area around you. Perfect for if you're feeling swarmed.

Next up is Running. Before, Lion just moved at a single speed, with no sense of momentum. Now there's a run button you can hold down to go TWICE your regular speed. But of course you skid if you change direction too quickly or suddenly stop running.

Last is the Run-Attack. If you run and then swing, you'll charge forward with an attack. A great way to end a run if an enemy is in your path.

I got plenty more ideas to expand his moveset. And once I do I can think up all the ways to use them in levels.

Other than that, if you've seen my bluesky I've spent a lot of time modeling and rigging some NPCs. I'm gonna take a break from those for now to focus on more core gameplay stuff, but I'm excited to do more characters later!
