Weekly Report #029

Last week was a bit stop-and-start as I forced myself back into the routine of writing every day or nearly so, but by the end of the week I was approaching normal levels of productivity. On the whole, it wound up as something like 6-7K words written, I think. Next weekend I should be able to do a more comprehensive breakdown of how November's gone to date.
In terms of projects, I spent most of the week cycling through a few different options trying to find something I could really get into a groove on. The first couple were kind of so so, I made progress but not particularly efficient progress, but eventually I settled on the locker room short/story which I was able to get really dialed into. So unless that falls off quickly I think I might try to pair it with the Artemis story which I'm about to try and get back in on right now. Cross your fingers...

Early evidence suggests the Artemis story shouldn't see much more delay. I already powered through the first thousand words or so of revision that I was really struggling with before taking that break. There's about 2-4K still to go plus a bit more of the main action scene which still needs written. That will now be the main potential stumbling block, but I'm increasingly hopeful I can get the story released in a weekend or two.
