Added 2025-04-20 16:46:50 +0000 UTCHello friends, my apologies this is coming to you so late in the month, but I was away for just over 2 weeks for work and didn't have time to get this list together. Ink19: "Coal Chamber: Chamber Music...And Lullabies" (June 3, 1999)
This is where we start to get the sense Dez has lost it, as he discusses creating a completely new sound to separate themselves from nu-metal, how being a father changed his approach, and how the "Shock the Monkey" cover came to be. There's also the bonus of Rayna giving an interview entirely made up of one-sentence answers.
Houston Press: "Makeup Something" (March 30, 2000)
Drummer Mikey Cox admits that people don't like the new album but remains steadfast in CC's new direction, and explains why they left Sharon Osbourne's management.
Los Angeles Times: "Coal Chamber: They've Lived a Little" (April 16, 2000)
"You can hand them a beer, or you can hand them a thought". Nothing more needs to be said.
KNAC.com: "An Interview with Coal Chamber's Dez Fafara" (April 23, 2002)
Dez once again insists that what the kids need is happy music, and not sad, and that they don't sound anything like Korn, thank you very much.
