First day of Akathisia being out + another secret Grand Scream adlib recording

Wyatt had set up the mic, asked me to improvise a spoken part, and pressed record, and this is what I came up with in the moment. I was thinking a lot about wedding attire so I made a fake Macy's commercial for a tuxedo sale.
I can't believe Akathisia has almost 3k streams on a single platform only about a day after its release! This is so exciting and I feel so relieved and happy to see that my new music is being cherished and appreciated by my audience. Things are only going to get more fun from here and I can't wait to see everyone's reactions to what's on the way!
During release day, I was a bit lethargic at first, but then overcame something important and gained momentum as I sat down to roll out announcements. I worked really hard from about 4:30pm till 8pm, editing videos, making sure the song was up on Bandcamp and YouTube, posting, and announcing on every platform I could think of.
Afterwards, I went with two friends to karaoke at a gay bar and then to a diner where my friends showed a waitress my song as we were leaving (I think she liked it?).
Right now I'm feeling a strange mix of relief and a strong sense that my work is far from over! I've been trying to sit with both. Thank you for being here with me on the journey!
