Brings back memories of "Fast Ethernet" (circa 1995). I'm sure that my dad, born in 1908, was amazed at the high-tech 1920s with airplanes, cars, telephones, and radio. Amazing stuff. The same with me as I entered the field in 1962 and have seen technology, both hardware and software, surpass each decade by leaps and bounds.
