Tragically, their future selves are better able to manipulate and control them than anyone else could ever be. Having someone’s “best intentions” at heart doesn’t mean that you value the same things they do.

I feel some amount of sympathy for Claudia, imagine finally seeing the outcome of all your decisions but she still ends up in 1953 dead in the woods, and she knows it, all in the hopes her daughter lives. Nearly all their decision are made with "good in tensions" which they feel are justified but ends up ruining them anyway. Sad times.

2025-06-02 19:05:52 +0000 UTCI suppose it's up for interpretation, but I believe Hannah did initially find Ulrich to help him, get him out, be with him. When he called her an angel, she was so happy. But when he asked about Katharina and his children, her mood changed. Hannah realized that Ulrich could never love her as much as he loves Katharina and his children. She changed her mind and decided not to rescue him after all, which is what she came here to do. I don't think she came here to say goodbye, even if that's what it turned into. P.S. I would have died if you had said: "What? She says her name is Katharina?! But I thought that was Hannah! Man, I keep getting these names mixed up!" 😂

One small point regarding the family tree: despite its format, Bernd Doppler is confirmed to be married to Greta (and is not Greta's father as the tree layout implies), although as we already know, Bernd isn't Helge's father. This isn't a big issue but worth knowing.
