Added 2025-05-08 16:36:35 +0000 UTCWelp, for better or worse, we finished the entire first season of the new Netflix anime "Devil May Cry" (based off the hit game franchise, but not "directly associated" with Capcom lol)
Overall, is it a steaming pile of dogshit? Perhaps not.... it's certainly not a "great" show in our opinion, but we did honestly have fun with it. We both agreed that Episode 6 is hands down the best episode overall, and I think we even enjoyed Ep. 1, 7 & 8 as well. At the end of the day, the show's biggest struggles for us were with its writing and choice of 3D animation/character designs that they decided to implement. I fear that as an intro to the series, I've been led astray, and my gal-pal certainly had her share of gripes. Here's hoping they listen to audience feedback and end on a bang with Season 2. We'll be there when it releases, and you can bet your sweet candy asses that you'll see it posted here as well lol
