What Should I Watch?

Hey everyone! Hope you guys and gals are having a great New Year so far! I know that we already have some shows currently lined up (new and old releases) for me to watch and upload in FULL on here. But I was also curious regarding the higher tier. What MOVIES would you all want me to watch and upload EXCLUSIVELY for Patreon? And does the current cost of that Tier seem reasonable? Or would you be more likely to try it out if it was marked down slightly lower? Feel free to comment below with suggested films!

I like movies. I thought first tier was 10$ which I was happy with because one Native channel I wanted to watch from my country charges 18 straight up, I just can't. I wanted to suggest stuff, but if I switch now I will be double charged so I was like Oh no. 15 is ok, but with Severence I can't hear the show because of hearing problems and you find subtitles too distracting, lolz : } I had everything memorized in S01, but not S02. I might not be able to stick with it.

Tailith Skywalker

I loved Brazil : )

For TV I'd love to see Our Flag Means Death and Good Omens. I would say Hannibal but someone said you'd already seen that.

I second 3 body Problem There’s only a season 1 with 8 episodes but it’s been renewed for 2 more seasons. Excellent show! I’m on my 3rd watch on Interview with the Vampire with movieman, it’s my fav.

Have you seen Brazil? It’s a Terry Gilliam film, and kind of thematically ties in with Severance - absurdist dark comedy around workplace culture / bureaucracy

Valaree

what shows do you have coming up next? the white lotus? i would pay top dollar for a white lotus reaction 😂🤝🙏

I think the cost of the movie patreon is not too big. Personally I just prefer series over movies, and that's why I haven't ordered it. But maybe someday. What to watch? Of course best reactions and analyses we get from series YOU actually are intrested to watch. But if you find these interesting, you could take a look at 3 Body Problem, For All Mankind and Silo.

This was the only movie I thought about recommending, just beautiful all around.

Movie The Fall from 2006 dir. Tarsem Singh Visually the most beautiful movie I've ever seen. And the story is whimsical and poetic and beautifully touching. And the new 4k remaster just came out. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0460791/

Lukre Phoenix

I'd love to see some reactors watch classics -- specifically movies that are heralded as "the greatest blah blah blah" -- an example would be something like "Citizen Kane," "Chinatown," "Dr. Strangelove," etc. Anyway . . .Maybe one classic a month or every other month? There are many I haven't seen that I'd love to watch along with a reactor. A movie buff friend always tells me to watch "Seven Samurai," but I haven't. Creep (2014) would be so much fun! I know it's different from your usual content but I'd also be interested in a Wicked (2024) reaction - I'm always curious as to people's takes on musicals. :)

Would love your reactions to Our Flag Means Death (2022, 18 half-hour episodes total). The first few eps of the first season made me almost turn it off. But because I loved Rhys Darby from Flight of the Conchords, I stuck through another episode... and sure enough everything changed. Where we went from ep 1 to ep 10 was an EPIC journey and some of the most unexpected TV I've ever seen.
