“Unnie, how do I look?” Minsuk was smoothing out her little pastel green dress for what felt like the tenth time in the last five minutes, bumping into the tiny mic hidden in her clothes for the fifth.

“You look super pretty!” you crouched down to her level to pretend to fix it for her, so she’d be more reassured. “Are you still okay with doing this?”

“Yup! I want to.” she nodded, not resisting the urge to twirl and make her dress woosh.

“Okay, tiny. He’s about to call you in.” you smiled fondly at your sister, noticing Yoongi watching the two of you despite the introductions he was already making.

Minsuk’s obsession with Suchwita led Yoongi into offering to have a special episode where she could be the special guest, to which Minsuk instantly said yes to. Appa was a little skeptical about it and so were you, but Yoongi’s team promised it would be short and safe, and after the recording, you would get to decide as a family whether you thought it was a good idea to actually air it or not. It could just be something fun for Minsuk to do.

Besides, it’s not as if ARMY didn’t already know her face and her name.

That is why now the recording studio was all set up, despite the lower number of staff and camera directors; the team was cut short today, to make sure your sister could be more comfortable with less people around. Her round cheeks were still pink, but you assumed it was because of the man introducing her as:

“Please welcome the prettiest little girl, and one of the most special people in my life.” Yoongi said from his seat, pushing it back a little and inviting her over. “Come here, tiny cat.”

“Hi!!” Minsuk said as she started running towards him after picking up the paper bag she had left on the floor.

Yoongi’s whole face lit up just the way it always did whenever your sister did anything, opening his arms to greet her with a hug. Minsuk placed the bag with her drink of choice on top of the table, not an ounce of hesitation in her soul as she climbed Yoongi’s lap to sit and make herself comfortable, completely ignoring the chair set aside for her.

Her choice of seating made the camera directors rush to position her camera to make sure she’d be in frame and looking at the monitors made you smile. Her eyes looked bigger on camera, you wondered if the same happened to you.

“Wanna say hi to everyone?” Yoongi’s gums were out as he pointed to the cameras, slightly moving the bag away so the two of them would be well positioned. “Hi, ARMY.”

“Oh, right, hi ARMY, hi appa.” she waved a small hand in the air, nibbling on the inside of her bottom lip.

“Here on the show, every guest brings their favorite drink for us to share.” Yoongi continued, holding her with a protective arm. “What did you choose today?”

“My favorite orange juice!” she chirped, all but tearing into the paper bag to pull out a small cardboard box holding the few units of the juice.

“Why is it your favorite?” he wanted to know, helping the little girl pull out a couple pouches.

“Because it comes with stickers!” Minsuk smiled, taking a juice pouch in her small hands to show Yoongi where the hidden sticker was. “Wanna see?”

“Of course, what did you get?”

While her short nails gave Minsuk a little bit of a hard time to peel the small pack from the juice pouch, a staff girl walked into the filming area to take away the paper bag and clear a little of the set so it could look nicer on camera. Minsuk eyed her suspiciously, but Yoongi was patient with her.

Your boyfriend was always so patient with her it made your heart clench every time.

“Oh, this is so pretty!” Minsuk finally pulled the sticker away, jumping while sitting on Yoongi’s leg, making him hold onto her a little tighter. “Look!”

“Is that a princess?” Yoongi eyed the sticker, moving it ever so slightly so the camera could zoom in and pick up the little drawing of a princess in a pink tutu. “She looks like you.”

“Thank you, Mister Yoonbi!” she giggled, taking the sticker back and peeling it out to stick it to her little forearm. “Now you! What did you get?”

Minsuk pushed the other juice pouch into Yoongi’s hand. While he had as much trouble as she did to pluck it out, your sister twisted the plastic cap on the juice pouch and brought it to her lips to start drinking.

“She’s really cute.” the familiar voice speaking in a hushed tone next to you made you smile and look at Doyun. “Like her sister.”

“Uh huh, let my boyfriend hear you flirt with me again.” you chuckled. “Better yet, let your girlfriend hear that.”

“I’d be in more trouble with her than Yoongi-ssi, if I’m honest.” your friend laughed and you had to agree.

Doyun’s steady girlfriend was also a HYBE worker, although she didn’t work with BTS or you, you’ve seen her around the building and had been officially introduced to her by Doyun. She was a nice girl, but very jealous, so it took her a while to warm up to you. Most of your lovers hadn’t warmed up to Doyun yet, so you couldn’t really complain.

Both of your eyes got back to the laughing duo when Minsuk started teasing Yoongi for getting the sticker of a cat, saying it looked exactly like him. The man tried to stay serious, hitting her with his scoffing face, but her little giggles made sure that didn’t last.

“She told me she wants to act when she’s grown.” you told your friend, who nodded at the corner of your eye. “She’s still too little to be sure, but I think that’s why she wanted to try this so much.”

“I don’t think she’s nervous about the cameras.” Doyun agreed. “That’s a good sign.”

“It’s not the cameras that worry me, she’s not so good with people.” you told him quietly. “The boys actually helped her a lot with that, she wasn’t always this open and talkative.”

You might never finish writing if you ever decide on putting down on paper all of the good things your seven lovers had done for you, your sister, or your father. They changed your family’s lives in more ways than one and kept doing so without even having to try.

“You’re so silly, Mister Yoonbi.” at your sister’s heartfelt declaration, you looked up to the two of them to see Minsuk throwing her arms around his neck for a hug.

Yoongi was completely red in the face as he hugged her back, looking at you as if his heart was about to burst and he was asking you for help. You shrugged to let him know he was on his own.

The man cleared his throat, cat eyes small as his smile was big. In an attempt to continue with the interview, the staff girl returned to their table to take away the plastic wrapper of the stickers and place down a nice place filled with egg tarts. It was the same kind sold at the former HYBE museum, but now that it wasn’t in that same building anymore, you just knew Yoongi had to send someone to get them.

“Oh, yummy!” Minsuk forgot about her juice pouch, handing it over to Yoongi so she could delicately grab a small tart. “Wanna see a trick? Taetae showed it to me.”

Before you could warn your boyfriend, Yoongi was already nodding. Without thinking twice, Minsuk pushed the whole tart into her tiny mouth, stuffing her cheeks with it and making you mortified in the process. You raised her better than that, but Kim Baby Bird Taehyung just thought he was so funny by pretending to look like a hamster.

Yoongi looked shocked before he started to laugh, despite his obvious concern about your sister choking on the food, so he kept the juice pouch in hand just in case. After he ate an egg tart and Minsuk swallowed her, he asked:

“Do you remember when we first met?” Yoongi wiped the corner of her mouth to get rid of the crumbs.

“Yeah!” she nodded, swinging her little legs between his. “You came to the zoo with us.”

“I did.” his smile in return was soft. “What did you think of me back then?”

“I dunno.” Minsuk shrugged her little shoulders, pretending to find something really interesting in the sticker glued to her arm.

“I know that face.” Yoongi probed, poking her sides to make her giggle. “You can tell me. Did you not like me?”

“I did.” she groaned, pushing his tickling hands away. You didn’t think she’d admit it out loud, but then your sister said: “I- I thought you were cute. Like a kitty.”

“Oh, really?”

Yoongi’s smile was smug as he looked at you as if he just heard the best news of his life. You rolled your eyes and hid your cackle behind your hand as Minsuk carried on:

“Yeh. But now I think Kookie is cuter.”

“Hey!” Yoongi gasped and formed a thin line with his lips. “That hurts my feelings.”

“Don’t be upset.” Minsuk looked at him with furrowed brows, patting his cheek with a small hand. “You're still my favorite, Mister Yoonbi.”

“Who do you like more? Me or your unnie?” he teased, making your sister look at you with slight panic in her round eyes.

“I like you both the same!” it was the diplomatic answer.

Maybe she should have picked you, when you were her blood, when you all but raised her yourself, being the only female role model she had in her little life. But, looking at how Yoongi handled her, how he cared for her and everything he did for her, you understood why she couldn’t pick between you two.

“Can we go to McDonalds?” Minsuk asked as Yoongi helped her put on the seatbelts on the back of his car.

“Ask your sister.” the man told her, making you squint at him.

“She’ll just say noooo.” the little girl groaned as if she already knew what you were going to say. As if you weren’t in the front seat. Mimicking you, she added: “‘You need to eat healthy, tiny!’ I eat healthy all the time!”

Looking at her through the rearview mirror, you watched her pout and cross her little arms, making Yoongi laugh. That’s when you knew she had him.

“Just try it, tiny cat. Be nice and say please.” he told her, making her sigh dramatically. “Go on.”

“Unnieeeee.” she called, making you turn around as if you weren’t listening to the whole exchange. “Can we go to McDonalds, please?”

“Is mister Yoonbi paying?” you raised an eyebrow and he looked at you as if offended you thought that dinner would make him broke. When he nodded, you said: “Okay, let’s go.”

Minsuk gasped and let out tiny celebratory squeals, kicking her legs and clapping her little hands. While Yoongi closed her door and rushed to the front seat to take his place next to you, you texted your dad to ask if he’d like you to pick him up from your apartment so he could join the three of you.

“Everything okay?” Yoongi asked you as he drove out of the HYBE underground parking lot.

“Yeah, just talking to appa.” you nodded, pushing the device back into your bag. “He’s rather busy, Joon and Jimin are there.”

“Not making him dinner, I hope.” the man laughed, which you agreed with, shaking your head.

“They’re ordering something.” you explained.

Yoongi nodded in understanding, driving with one hand so that his right one could reach for yours. His fingers slipped between yours and he brought your linked hands to rest on top of his tight, like he always did when he was the one driving you somewhere.

Holding your hand was second nature for him, not even thinking about it anymore. You were a little concerned about Minsuk, but as you looked at her through the mirror again, you found her happily watching Seoul pass by.

Every time you passed by a Mcdonalds, you hoped your sister didn’t notice it. You knew Yoongi was searching for one that wasn’t as full, which was proving to be slightly difficult. To your sister, Yoongi was a friend, your boyfriend, she didn’t see him as the idol that he was, she wouldn’t understand the fact that going to a busy restaurant with the two of you and no security could easily get out of hand.

Thankfully, she was very distracted.

“How do you like the city, Sukie?” you asked her, suppressing a smile as Yoongi’s fingers absentmindedly squeezed yours.

“It’s nice.” she told you, still swinging her legs.

“Are you excited about moving here next year?” Yoongi wanted to know, looking at her in the back seat.

Making the move from Daegu to Seoul was a long time coming for Appa and Minsuk. Now that she was growing older, to eventually become a pre-teen, it was important that she had you –her closest female figure– near to help her and your trying father to navigate all of the changes she would definitely go through. Not to mention, she would have more opportunities, a better education, and she would be safer.

Seoul was definitely still more expensive than your hometown, but thanks to the savings you were still putting out for her and Appa, that wouldn’t be a problem.

“I am.” Minsuk nodded, but you could tell there was a small nervous tilt to her words. “I’m going to miss my friends, but Appa said I’ll make new ones.”

“Of course you will. You’ll be the most popular girl in class.” Yoongi assured her, but even her little laugh was full of nerves.

“Unnie, are we going to live with you?” she asked and you were careful with how you answered her:

“We’re not sure yet, tiny.” you told her and, this time, Yoongi’s squeeze to your hand was supposed to be supportive. “Either way, you’ll be able to see me as much as you want, no matter where you live.”

“We’re here!” Yoongi announced as he managed to find a parking spot just down the road from a Mcdonalds that was slightly emptier than the last three.

“Yaaaay! I’m going to get fries and chicken nuggets and a milkshake!” Minsuk hurriedly clicked her seatbelt free, but Yoongi warned:

“Calm down, wait for me to come get you!”

Once it was safe for him to get out of the car and avoid the coming traffic, both you and Yoongi left the vehicle and he opened the door for your sister to finally get out. Her hand slipped right into his, while the other searched for yours.

“What are you gonna get, unnie?” Minsuk asked as the three of you walked down the street to the fast food place.

“I’ll just eat yours.” you told her with the wiggle of your brows, making her yell and shake her head.

“Does Mister Yoonbi not have money to buy chicken nuggets for you, too?” she asked, slightly concerned as she looked up at the smiling man. “I don’t need a milkshake.”

“Don’t worry, tiny cat,” Yoongi shook his head, letting go of hand in order to pick her up instead. “I could buy the whole restaurant if I wanted to.”

Minsuk’s eyes widened as she settled with her arms around his neck. Biting back a snicker, you walked closer to them to wrap your arm around his back.

“I don’t think she understands the concept of flexing yet, my love.” you teased, making him shrug.

“It’s never too early.” he sent you a grin that you just wanted to kiss away.

Thankfully, the inside of the Mcdonalds was as empty as you suspected, only a few families and kids. The two of you still dragged looks as you walked in, a couple quiet gasps from the young adults behind the counter, but nothing too worrisome. Lest you found ‘Min Yoongi and Yn take their daughter out to dinner’ headlines tomorrow, you’d say things would be okay.

The line to order was pretty tame and soon enough the three of you were choosing what you wanted to eat. When it got to the time for Minsuk to choose the toy to come with her meal, she gasped and pointed to the big display showcasing the characters you all knew well.

“Look! It’s BT21!” she was very excited about it, despite Yoongi’s shock at seeing BTS’ mascots being sold at the restaurant.

“Did you know about this?” you asked him with an amused smile.

“Honestly, it’s hard to keep up with all the partnerships.” he grimaced, holding Minsuk a little higher.

“Which one do you want, cutie?” the nice girl taking your order asked your sister, who took less than five seconds to reply:

“I want Chimmy, please.” despite looking a little shy, she smiled and bowed her head politely.

Yoongi wasn’t too happy about her choice, snickering as he added: “Just give us the set with all seven.”

You couldn’t hold back a laugh as you waited for the food to be put together, watching fondly as Yoongi took his credit card and handed it to Minsuk so she’d be the one to complete the payment by touching the machine with it.

Once the food was all ready, you had to carry it to the table, as Yoongi didn’t let go of your sister, but you complained the whole time. The three of you found a booth in a corner that was slightly away from view and, surprisingly, Minsuk sat on one side of the booth, while you and Yoongi took the opposite stuffed seat to share.

As all of you dug into your meals, a random worry popped into Minsuk’s little head.

“When we move here, Jack is coming too, right?” she asked, taking a bite of a chicken nugget instead of shoving it into her mouth again.

“Of course, Suk, you’re not leaving him behind.” you assured her, taking a few fries to take a bite of. Turning to Yoongi, you commented: “ARMY thinks he’s your secret cat.”

“I know.” he groaned with a little roll of his pretty eyes. “That was my bad and you’ll never let me leave it down.”

“I’m glad you know that.” you beamed, kissing his cheek to stop a ‘hajima’ before it even came out.

Many months ago, the ever private Min Yoongi had been the first one to post pictures of Jack, your sister’s black cat. Granted, he didn’t do it on purpose. The whole thing was an accident, a slip of his camera roll, which made it even funnier. You were only glad that it was a picture of him with a cat, and not one of the many compromising pictures he had of you in his gallery.

“When we’re here, you can visit him as much as you want!” Minsuk declared, pulling the plastic lid of her milkshake cup off to dip a french fry into it.

“Can I see you as much as I want?” Yoongi asked her.

“‘course!” Minsuk easily agreed with a full mouth.

Despite ordering way too much, Minsuk couldn’t eat everything, offering the rest of her nuggets and fries for you and Yoongi to finish off while she opened the BT21 set to take out each character to see what they did. Much to Yoongi’s solace, the first one she pulled out was Chimmy.

“Can I bring my new toys to the sleepover tomorrow?” Minsuk asked while pressing the little button to make Chimmy move.

“Of course, tiny–”

“Wait, what sleepover?” Yoongi frowned and your eyes widened.

“Ah, that’s nothing–”

“We’re sleeping over at Taetae’s house!” she innocently blabbed, making you avoid Yoongi’s questioning gaze. “So I can play with Tannie.”

“She never slept at my house.” Yoongi grumbled an accusation, a pout deep in his pouty, pink lips. “And you’re letting her stay at Taehyung’s?!”
