This demo is one of many that will be made for patreons, this one is a special case because it will be publicly released after a week or two from now, this version is missing many osts and sfx which is why it's worth it to play the public finished demo when it drops, anyway sorry for delays and thanks for your patience.

controls: Shift to dodgeroll, Shift (press and hold) so slide, CTRL to fire drone, Spacebar twice to glide, E to heal (its a bit buggy), MMB to lock onto and off of enemies, MM2 to parry (to parry you will need the judgement in the second slot), MM2 while in the air to ride sword (to do this you will need the judgement in the second slot), and that should be about it.

There are a few things to iron out to make this perfect honestly and in general they are just a few problems that are generally obvious and can be searched for and solved easily if not taking a bit of time. Audio issues are the most obvious one. I ended up being very confused about what I was doing due to a lot of audio not really being there. In general too, it feels like some of the combos are given to the players too early and I feel like slowly building up on kind of a list of combos as the game progresses would be better since I found myself not really understanding why or what I was capable of doing or how I did it so a list of combos would help with that as well. Intro was actually something I didn't mind much but being a bit more linear of a path doesn't hurt since the game goes straight into how open it is pretty quickly which is the best part, the spectacle. I just wish a lot of the other stuff-- and hope all of the other stuff is ironed out before an official release since it put me out of the game quite a bit, especially the lack of audio and audio issues present-- finding a lot of audios confusing in where they were directionally or how far they were as well. There was also some flickering textures here and there that bothered me but it is much more minor than some of the other things. Just didn't feel very satisfying doing a lot of the complex combos and such when not understanding what I'm really doing or how I'm doing it combined with the lack of audio or impact created from audio. I am very excited to see where this game will go though since the amount of things that need to be fixed and improved is so little honestly.

This game is definitely showing a lot of promise. I'm super excited for the full release, whenever it eventually comes! The world itself (outside of the introductory section) is extremely imaginative, grand, and awesome in every creative sense. The animations are surprisingly good, better than 90% of indie games, which surprised the hell out of me. There are a few bugs (such as being stuck clipping into one of the flying enemies), and the optimization could definitely use some work (especially optimizing enemy AI) There are other things I would suggest to add that I know you're probably already working on (more sound effects during combat, a more varied options menu, saving and coming back later from where you left off). But I think the section that needs the most work before later iterations is the introductory section/ tutorial. I think more care could have been put into communicating to the player where they needed to go. No hand holding needed, but little environmental indicators can go a long way. The big structure you start out on, for example. I didn't even know that there was an opening I could fall down for several minutes lol. The box that you fall into also needs some work, it requires precision in the players movement that the players move set wasn't designed for. The players movement was clearly designed for wide open areas with breathing room, and that first section doesn't set those expectations properly. It felt like I was barely scrambling and brute forcing that section in a way that wasn't intended rather than getting a full grasp of how the movement worked. I also didn't know where I could even climb the indistinguishable brown strip for a while. The first combat section has enemies that are way to tanky, and there way to many of them. If you want tanky attack dummies that the players can experiment with, putting them to the side would be great. Having a good introduction is *really* essential. I think a lot of developers under estimate how important it really is. The game is showing a lot of promise! I can't wait to see what you develop in the future!

love the demo so far! i played it a bit and i'm having fun, but i think the combat is a little too clunky as someone else has said, it would be nice to know what combos your weapons can do and what abilities they have the movement also has some issues, like i found an exploit where you can infinitely jump upwards in midair due to how you jump up off of V when letting go in midair i also encountered an issue where i clipped through the floor multiple times and another one where certain areas werent loading other than these, the game looks really good! and i can see it being fun to play!

I'm struggling to find the proper control scheme. Anyone got a list of the button prompts for KBM?

Really fun demo, had a great time going through it and cant wait to see more of the game in the future, only odd things i came across were the music clipping in and out at some points in the first plains area, and that if you spam the space bar you can infinitely jump because the glide cooldown is so short, other than that i absolutely loved the scenery, art style and combat. Great stuff!

Amazing, of course there are alot of things that need to be ironed out but the potential of this game is absolutely massive. Can't wait for the next version!

Overall impression? Great demo! I'm excited for the full game to come out and to explore this world! Here's a list of things to consider, and things I like: What I like: - Breathtaking scenery. Everything is huge just as I expected, and apparently its not even the biggest things?? I want more! - The art style. Even with such huge assets, the low-rez textures still work. I was impressed! There could be a little more resolution to help with the blurriness up close and some starker color differences (some walls blend together, and the character can blend into the surroundings), but thats a small nitpick - Music: I only heard the beginning ambient track and the combat track, but it fits the mood! I'm excited to hear more! What could be improved: - Combat: Definitely in the right direction and has solid foundations, but it feels too sluggish right now to call it truly fast-paced. My main gripe is the lack of animation cancelling at the moment. It takes too long to wait for another swing of the sword if you missed the first swing. Target locking would be really helpful as well - parkour/movement: idk how to describe it, but it just feels... imprecise. Precision platforming would be a bit of a chore in its current state. Idk if this is something that I would get used to over time or not. I'm really, really excited to see more development of this game. I hope you find this criticism helpful!

Yeah attack cancelling would be dope, atm the combat looks great but doesnt feel great (i love the different combo routes tho at least with the sword).

Played the demo, its great love the artstyle and the ost is great too. My only problem with the demo is that at least for me playing with a ps4 controller conected it made the camera bug/glitch in a constant spin, and with an xbox one controller half the inputs shown in the tutorial just didnt work (no dash, double jump etc. I coul only jum, glide and attack with robot and heal nothing more). As i said maybe it was a problen on my end i dont know. Regardless great demo man

I played a little bit of the demo, hopefully more tomorrow, but I wanted to leave a comment saying I can definitely see the potential in this game. Videos on Twitter or posts made here are one thing but even though this very much seems like an early build, I can see a solid finished game come through.

Great fuckin demo, i wish there was more instructions especially with comboing and parrying, already beat the demo aswell, combat still needs polishing and attack cancelling, the transition animation between climbing, jumping etc needs a bit more smoothness to it because the teleporting is pretty notice-able, glider feels like its a bit short when gliding and maybe some movement speed increase, combat can feel slow compared to metal gear rising but i did just come back from that but overall extremely promising work and you did exceptional for this creation.
