Writing Update & Fate Points Release Announcement.

I actively took last week off and have tried to write today but failed. I'll try again tomorrow, and the next day because I need to stop distracting myself with reading bad books (admittedly two of the four series I've read have been fantastic).

Mentally I'm still getting random mood swings which every one tells me is normal but rather abnormal for me. My wife is continuously surprised by how much I've been effected. It makes doing happy creative writing hard and I don't want to kill off the entire cast of characters.

Unfortunately release dates on Amazon don't care about feelings and you guys are all rightly annoyed about not getting chapters (happy to give refunds by the way just message) and my plan to give bonus chapters prior to this release to get you in the right frame of mood is not going to happen.

In any case Fate Points is now live in all markets. Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated.

Allen, I just cancelled because money is tight and I’m looking at things to cut back on. Then I realized where you were at and was like, ‘Oh crap! I don’t want him to stress that people are bailing cuz he’s taking time to get his head on straight’ I lost my Dad two Christmas ago and I was foggy for weeks. Still, years later, I just feel the ache. Point is, I’m out for now but that’s a me thing, which sounds lame, but is true. Best wishes, I’ll be back once we’ve pinched a few pennies

I hear you Allan, I read to escape sometimes too! I’m curious what those 4 series are that have got you hooked though…👀

Robert Reilly

Congratulations on your book release. Take your time we’ll still be here when you’re ready.

Don't worry about us. Your mental health is priority #1.

Deepest sympathies, I was pretty much non functional for 2-3 months when my dad died it takes awhile to process.

Thanks for the update! It might sound weird but if you are writing and have a mood swing, turn it into a bloopers or and compile into a fun bonus chapter for later. There have been a few times Tom easily could have been offed and some would have been funny. Now kindly excuse me I’m off to read Fate Points for the 5th time

Thanks for the update. What are those two fantastic series you've been reading.

Grief of this nature is a different kind of beast. Give yourself the grace and time you need. IT does get easier, but you don't know all that is hidden in the shadow of your unconscious. That said, writing could be a good way to explore what you feel. It doesn't have to be this story, just seeing what comes up free writing?

My advice would be try writing something else. Something different. Poetry, fan fiction short story, something creative such as a random scene where nobody talks. Nothing you have to publish anywhere, unless you decide to. But, take as long as you need, and enjoy the sunshine.

Thanks for the news and take the time you need. I have left a review on Amazon which is being reviewed bedore release. Hope that helps a litlle bit;)

Take whatever time you need, I honestly think this is a good end point for book 1 of UH and you should take a break for edits, alpha and beta sorties and whatever else goes into the production of a full book, Take a break from writing new things, do what you need to grieve and mourn. I will be here when you get better, I don't need a refund, if you feel you have to, maybe stop payments on December and resume with the new year. Just do what you need to get better.

I lost my little brother earlier this year. The pain is indescribable, but I think you understand. Take the time you need and don't dare give me a refund.

Ian Gaston

I don't speak for everyone but thank you for the update. Loosing a loved one isn't easy and it can be very difficult to pickup were you left off. Mostly because you don't feel the same as when you took the break. I for one have you and your family in thoughts and prayers. Just take one day at a time. I hope you are resting and eating well.🙏

Derek

Take care man, we can wait

Zy

Don't even worry about it. I dealt with similar issues when my father passed. Take all the time you need.
