November Economic Update

Finally got the numbers for November together, and the good news is that November ended in the positive, but the bad news is that it only just broke positive by around $20, which still leave the overall year around $3500 in the red.
My overall goal for the year is still to break even, through that's going to be pretty hard to achieve with only December left of 2024.

One big change for next year, is that Sheepy will stop working on the game. This isn't solely because of the economic situation, but when Sheepy joined last year, the goal was to increase his hours as the game grew, so he could go from part-time to full-time. But that sadly didn't work out, and it instead turned into a challenge to keep funding his salary. Doing this time, Sheepy also started burning out on development work. So because of this, we decided to end his employment from the new year.
So what does this mean for the game going forward? I'll still be working full-time, but will mean some slowdown in the development of Nexus, the plan was to have Sheepy focus on this, but with him gone I'll have to fit in the development in my schedule (I won't stop development of the Nexus mode, but I'll most likely have to pause some of the major features planned for it).
The only good part of this, is that it'll greatly improve the game's economic situation, as without Sheepy's salary that game should definitely break even if we can keep up the current levels of income. I do hope to expand the team again down the line, but will most likely wait until the economic situation is more solid for it, until then I'll continue investing the money back into the game. There's still so much more I want to do with it, and I plan on continuing to work on it, until it's the best it can get!
