Added 2025-12-04 04:33:25 +0000 UTCWhat an intense way to start the show! Deeply unsettling. There was so much happening right out of the gate. I'm glad we got to see our favorite trio again. They tied in the previous Daredevil show very well while also establishing their own groove for this new series. Fisk is still as terrifying as ever. I don't know who this Adam is but he better run for the hills!

I was in disbelief about Foggy’s death. What makes it a bit worse is that the original draft for the show involved Matt getting by without Foggy and Karen because they would’ve been killed off-screen. After they fired the original staff and brought them both back, I thought they would stick around for a good part of the show and they wouldn’t get killed off-screen early. Kamar de los Reyes was a Puerto Rican actor. He passed away on Christmas Eve 2023. His portrayal of Hector Ayala/White Tiger was his final live-action role. He was also known as the voice of Raul Menéndez in the Call of Duty franchise. Kamar was 56 years old. He is survived by his musician brothers Walfredo Jr and Daniel, wife Sherri Saum, and three sons including two twins he had with her.

Jon Berenthal, who plays The Punisher, is getting a new special just like Daredevil did. But it's still worth a watch. Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, are also worth a watch. Iron Fist is a give or take. I know you watched the Defenders. Maybe once you're caught up with the MCU, you can go back and revisit those. Jessica Jones was my favorite because the villain was EPIC.
