Sometimes we will put a hostile witness on the stand because their bias against our client bolsters their credibility. There’s even a special rule that allows you to ask a hostile witness leading questions, which is usually only allowed on cross-examination. All that being said, in the same scene Jennifer gave an inadmissible expert psychiatric opinion on Dennis’ mental condition (by calling him delusional). Only an expert would be allowed to give that opinion. So the legal realism in this show is mixed at best.

2025-04-05 03:25:03 +0000 UTCMy only complaint about this episode is the Wrecking Crew, who attack She-Hulk at the end. They just didn’t do the team justice. it was cool to see them get a little screen time in live action, but they felt like CW network renditions of these characters. In the comics, these construction workers got their powers from a freak lightning strike, making them regular enemies of Thor, which is how I met them in The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.. I just find the takes on certain characters in She-Hulk to be a little odd, mostly the lessor known characters. Though there's still plenty I enjoy and think they translated perfectly to the MCU. Can't wait for Episode 4, one of the only episodes, along with Episode 8, that I really liked. Everything else was kind of forgettable for me.
