This is Batman in his infancy. He hasn't grown into the Batman we all know and love yet.

I don't like this movie. The entire premise was to show the detective side of Batman, which most movies don't really get into as well. But he's a bad detective in this. * He doesn't save a single one of the Riddler's targets (he even helps get one of them killed). * He doesn't catch the Riddler. The Riddler turns himself in. * If he would have analyzed the photos, he would have figured out where they were taken from and found the Riddler like 20-30 minutes into the movie. It's a shame, because so many of the other aspects were pretty good.

Great reaction as always. I love this movie and am really excited to see the next one.

At this rate, The Batman 2 might as well be a Batman Beyond movie, with an older Pattinson mentoring Terry McGinnis. Dropping in 2039, starring a 50-year-old Pattinson, lol At least Batman: Brave and the Bold is on the way as part of James Gunn’s new DCU, and it’s finally bringing the Bat-Family back to the big screen. Kinda wild to think mainstream audiences haven’t seen Robin in a movie since Batman & Robin (1997). A whole generation grew up on Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, Batman v Superman, and The Batman without a single Robin in sight. I could see Pattinson’s Batman getting a Robin too. Pattinson’s Batman could really benefit from having a Bat-Family, especially as he grows as a character and opens up more. Robin could be what makes him open up.
