Christmas Movie Suggestions

Happy Holidays! It's that time of year again when everything gets a little more magical. I'd love to know which holiday movies you'd like me to watch!

Last year, I watched Elf, Die Hard, and Home alone. The full reactions are available but only Home Alone has a YouTube edit. Also on YouTube are Falling For Christmas, A Christmas Prince, The Princess Switch, and The Princess Switch: Switched Again.

I'll put up a poll later this week! ❤️

Mad Eye Moody, Fleur Delacour, and Percival Graves are in it too.

Uncle Phoenix

I really hope she listens.

Also, if you've never seen the infamous "Star Wars Christmas Special" from 1977, it is one of the worst television shows ever made (the cast will completely agree). The network rushed it into production due to the popularity of the movie, and all the actors agreed and then immediately regretted it. It has completely bizarre cameos from well-known actors at the time, including Bea Arthur from "Golden Girls". Entire articles have been written about how awful it is, but it's cringe in absolute peak form and almost a "must see" for "Star Wars" fans for that reason, alone. You'll only find it on YouTube because George Lucas refused to let it be released into the world. Even if you don't react to it, you should absolutely watch it.

HeyHeyJK

Just Friends (2005) with Ryan Raynolds is freggin hilarious xD Has become a "must see before christmas movie" for me!

Jgeir

☝🏻

Jgeir

It is a short one, but if you have never seen Prep & Landing, it is very cute.

Aendery2k

Guardians of the galaxy holiday special!

Armando Castillo

Klaus on Netflix for sure!! To everyone else who recommended it I see you and I appreciate you

Dennis Nolasco-Ramirez

Ima vote for Prancer. The one from 1989! It's Wonderful. It might be a little perfect. It's got Sam Elliott. And, uh, Chloris Leachman. I really can't say enough about this movie, if you like a Christmas movie.

Gideon Zahler

Jingle all the way

Aendery2k

Klaus

Michael Morris

The Christmas Chronicles

Michael Morris

Love Actually! Four Christmases Office Christmas Party

Horace Cocroft

Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.

Chuckles4487

"In Bruges" with Colin Farrell. In my top ten favorite films of all time. However, I have to admit that Christmas is the absolute smallest part of the plot. It takes place at Christmas, and Christmas factors in one important conversation but, outside of that, it's just one of the best films ever. Oh, and your boy Voldemort is in it, if that helps.

HeyHeyJK

Klaus 2019

Ibrahim Ali

Violent Night!!!!!!!!!!!!

PopeyeNelson

The Family Man The Santa Clause

Shane Black has an amazing history of writing and contributing to Christmas/holiday adjacent (action... but don't tell anyone) movies. 1987's Lethal Weapon 1991's The Last Boy Scout 1996's The Long Kiss Goodnight 2013's Iron Man 3 2016's The Nice Guys I'm not here to talk about them, they are only references. They are clout and film industry weight. No, instead I'm here to bring up and support my fave holiday movie. Shane Black's directorial debut, the 2005 movie "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang." RDJ and Val Kilmer. Screen chemistry between those two so thick you can cut it with a spork. Michelle Monaghan having perfect comedic timing. Its a fun movie, and one heck of an entry into the holiday scramble.

Richard Flores

Just want to echo and add a few: Trading Places Die Hard 2 Home Alone 2 Scrooged Bad Santa

BigBullyBusick

For some reason in my family's household it became a tradition to watch "The Holiday" (2006) for Christmas. I think it's a fun flick, very pleasantly light fare.

Onno Smits

Klaus!!! It so often get skipped in the polls because its animated, but its the funniest and most heartwarming Christmas movie I have ever watched :)

Håkon Kustås

Chances are, you've already seen it, but... A Christmas Story (1983). Its iconic, TBS plays it on repeat all Christmas Day, it just doesn't feel like Christmas until I've seen it every year. I would also find Gremlins (1984) acceptable :)

Future_Boy85

I feel like "A Christmas Carol" (1999) with Patrick Stewart is always overshadowed by the Muppet one or Scrooged. I think it's the most faithful of the variations on the classic tale and Patrick Stewart is an incredible actor. Given it's not been as widely distributed, as a reactor it may be an excellent "dark horse" pick but who knows. It is the one I watch every year, however, without fail on that night.

Kiera

The Santa Clause (tim allen) , The holiday (romcom), national lampoon Christmas vacation, the grinch (Jim carrey), love actually (rom-com-dram). For older movies White Christmas and Miracle on 34th street. And for newer options Christmas chronicles 1 and 2 (netflix), 8-bit Christmas.

Adam Doyle

A Christmas Carol (1984) with George C. Scott

Teemu Laitinen

She already saw the first Home Alone. Did you mean to say Home Alone 2?
