Well this was horrifying!! This might be the scariest episode of the entire show! It was cool to see Katara learn a bit more about waterbending…until the end.

That makes so much sense that this would have fallen on Halloween. It felt so creepy! I hadn't noticed that Katara used an earthbending move. What a great detail!

One of the cool little details in this ep is when Katara is fighting Hama, she uses an earthbending type move to stop that wall of water head on, instead of redirecting it like a waterbender typically would. That's why Hama looks so shocked. (I've just been binge catching up with all your ATLA reactions, really enjoying them!)
