She just dropped it and I only read the description text. This sounded bad. I don't plan to watch this, but have you? Is it bearable? Or do you see her gradually losing trust in us as an audience?

And I think Alien has won and there's no going back and this might be the most uncomfortable reaction ever as Jax hits her fear ceiling and gets truly scared and hates this movie. I thought Shaun of the Dead was gonna be that, but she found so much humor in that movie. And what's gonna happen when there is no humor? I'm just saying... I think these poll results gave me an ulcer. I am genuinely worried.

Why are so many saying save Alien for a non Halloween scare reaction, like she will ever watch a scary movie outside of Halloween, this is litterally the only time she will be willing to watch it..

I think you're most likely to enjoy Coralline and am surprised at the low number of votes. Alien and Aliens (the second) are really good though and I think you'll be OK with them.

For me, October spooky movies should have that whimsical horror vibe so that's why I voted Sleepy Hollow. Most of these are year round horror.

save American Psycho and Alien for a non Halloween scare. Scary Movie should be watched after you have seen a lot of other movies. Coraline is great (even better if you can watch on a 3D tv)... but for traditional spooky Halloween fair, you can't beat Sleepy Hollow. Get a warm cider and some pumpkin pie and turn on the A/C to add a nice chill factor.
