Synopsis: When Jean Grey absorbs some mysterious and powerful force, she must learn how to deal with her new abilities and their growing instability. The X-Men must band together to save her and the rest of the world from being destroyed by aliens that want to use this new force to rule Earth.
Outro Thoughts: I thought this movie was really fun to watch. It felt a bit disjointed at times, but I've learned that it was worked on by two studios that had different visions for how the movie should go. The ending was a perfect throwback to the beginning!!

Thank you so much!! I really appreciate you highlighting the important episodes. I wish they made more X-Men movies because I love this cast so much, but I'm sure they don't want to spend their entire lives playing the same characters.

2024-07-14 18:47:04 +0000 UTCIt's sad because the director of this film wanted to do justice to the Dark Phoenix storyline, but everything was against him. As this is the last X-Men film I'm not sure if you plan to watch X-Men 97, but I created a list of some key episodes from the original X-Men 90s series you can watch before jumping into X-Men 97 if you want more insight into past events. I don't think you need to have watched the 90s series to understand X-Men 97 at all. The series is very much crafted around being welcoming to a range of fans with different knowledge of the X-Men. Most people going into X-Men 97 wouldn't have even watched the original series, so it's just something to note beforehand. The original series hasn't aged all that well, held back by censorship and in general X-Men 97 is a massive improvement over the original. So it's really up to you if you want to venture deeper into the lore or just dive right into X-Men 97 and watch 10 episodes of the best X-Men content to date.
